Eralda Caushi graduated from the Faculty of Statistical Sciences at the University of Padua and earned a PhD degree in Statistics at the University Our Lady of Good Counsel. Assoc. Prof. Nihat Adar is an accomplished academician with extensive experience in the field of Computer Engineering. He completed his Doctorate at Lehigh University’s Graduate School of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Science in the USA in 1994. Prior to this, he pursued postgraduate studies at Anadolu University’s Institute of Science in Turkey. Assoc. Prof. Adar has contributed significantly to various research areas, including Signal Processing, Algorithms, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Computer Vision, Database and Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, and more. His expertise extends to Software Engineering, Pattern Recognition, and Soft Computing. With a career spanning nearly three decades, Assoc. Prof. Adar has made significant contributions to the academic community through his research, teaching, and leadership roles.
Artur Jaupaj holds a PhD degree in American Studies from Hacettepe University, Turkey. He has been part of our academic staff since 2012. Has various academic working experience at CIT as Senior Lecturer, Director of Corporate Training and Continuing Education, Head of Business Administration and IT Department, and Dean of Faculty of Economy. His research interest span in the field of Education Sciences/ Education Management and Policy; Technology-Based Teaching and Learning; Strategic Human Resource Management (HRM); Leadership: Organizational, Educational, Strategic; Professional and Vocational Training; Higher Education (HE) and Curricula Development; In addition to his native Albanian language, he also speaks English and Turkish (Proficient), Italian (intermediate).
Sokol Abazi graduated as Industrial Chemist in Albania, Tirana University in 1989. In 1997 he obtained his PhD from Fribourg University (Switzerland) in organic synthesis using radical chemistry. After a Postdoc in Total Synthesis of Natural Products at Oxford University in 1998, he worked for a couple of companies in the UK and Switzerland and then returned to Albania working as a Professor at Tirana University. Since 2015 he is a Full Professor at CIT, from 2020 he holds the Rector position. His research interests are mainly focused on natural products, organic synthesis, and supercritical fluid extraction (SFE). In the last decade, he has been working on the use of a modified “soxhlet-like” extraction technique using sub-critical CO2. Dr. Valbona Dhjaku is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in the field of Informatics. She earned her PhD from Tirana University’s Faculty of Natural Sciences in 2010, focusing on Interorganizational Systems and their impact on organizational flexibility. Over the years, Dr. Valbona has been instrumental in numerous projects, including the development of a Honeypots appliance and the implementation of Anomaly Detection using Machine Learning. She has also contributed significantly to areas like Internet Banking, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and more. Her research interests and publications span a wide range of topics, including E-government Services, File System Comparisons, Information Security in Wireless Networks, and Blockchain technology in the banking industry.
Altin Hoti has a PhD in International Economy from the Faculty of Economy, St Petersburg State University. Altin has completed his postdoctoral studies in Development Economics from George Washington University. He holds a second level degree in Economics for foreign relations from St. Petersburg State Technical University. He has more than 12-year teaching experience in higher education institutions in Albania and abroad. Altin delivers subjects such as International Trade and Logistic, Management Information Systems. His research area is Development Economic, International Economy, Economic Relation and he has more than 20 scientific articles published. He has also received a number of reviews and one of them is also a senior researcher from European Union Research Center of Business School, The George Washington University.
