Staying in London just one time should be on the goal list of any person who likes to see the world. For centuries the hub of Britain’s naval power, Greenwich is best known to tourists as the home of Cutty Sark, the last of the 19th-century tea clippers that sailed between Britain and China. The ship is adjacent to the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre, with its exhibits showcasing more than 500 years of maritime history, and the Palladian mansion known as Queen’s House. The impressive collections of the National Maritime Museum, the largest of its kind in the world, illustrate the history of the Royal Navy. One of the most unusual things to do in London is standing with one foot in each hemisphere, astride the Meridian Line in the Meridian Building in the Royal Observatory. The revitalized Docklands across the river has been transformed into an international place of business and recreation, filled with some of London’s smartest new restaurants. The excellent Museum of London Docklands, in the old Georgian warehouses, brings to life the river, port, and its people from Roman times to the present through hands-on displays that are especially interesting for children.

Spanish Steps – A truly monumental stairway of 135 steps, the Spanish Steps were built with French funds between 1721-1725 in order to link the Bourbon Spanish embassy to the Holy See with the French church, Trinit? dei Monti. The steps are usually very crowded attracting tourists as well as locals who use it as a gathering place. Each year in May the steps are decorated with pink azaleas. At the foot of the Spanish Steps is the Piazza di Spagna (Spanish square) and the Fontana della Barcaccia, a sober fountain designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.

Top Vancouver attractions : For many Vancouver visitors, Canada Place is where a trip begins. The unusual roof creates the impression of a huge sailing vessel. The architecturally remarkable structure is part cruise ship terminal, part convention center and hotel, and part hub for sightseeing bus tours. At the end of the pier, there are panoramic views and the Flyover Canada attraction – a fun flight simulator and Canadian geography lesson. Also nearby, Waterfront Station is a major transit hub with ferries departing for the public market at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver.

Africa is a awesome destination if you are searching for raw wildlife feeling. Tanzania and Kenya, Tanzania and Kenya are home to two of Africa’s most iconic (and joined) game parks, the Serengeti and Masai Mara. There is nothing that passes these parks in vastness, game concentrations and, of course, if you time it right, the legendary Great Migration. Speak to one of our ABS consultants to find out when’s the best time to try and catch it. The most amazing thing about a Tanzania/Kenya safari is that they generally also include other wonderful, lesser-known parks, like Tarangire and Amboseli, with its views of Kilimanjaro. Try and fit in a day or two on the beautiful shores of Lake Victoria.

My best picks for travel destinations that i think must be seen at least once. Northern Europe and especially Norway is a amazing travel destination. The Little Mermaid Statue – If you have ever seen the Disney movie “The Little Mermaid” or read the original story by Hans Christian Andersen, then you know that the story is about a mermaid who trades in everything to live on land with a handsome prince. This statue was inspired by the story and sits on the Langelinie Pier of Copenhagen. It’s easily reached by foot or bike, but you can also view it on a boat tour. The statue is a must see and is often referred to as the symbol of Denmark.

Do you know that you can study abroad, even on scholarship without IELTS or TOEFL? When applying for studies in schools abroad, one of the toughest hurdles to overcome for admission into a good university is the TOEFL or the IELTS exam requirement. Expectedly, many international students who are from non-English speaking backgrounds and have had very little training in the language, don’t possess the level of English proficiency to qualify the TOEFL or the IELTS tests. Additionally, these tests incur more costs to the already piling expenses a student has to pay for quality education. Read extra details on study abroad scholarships.

Mexico is a fabulous location if you are searching for adventure and ancient history feeling. Along the Pacific Coast in the Oaxaca region is Zipolite, a one-mile beach that retains a progressive, hippie vibe. In decades past, Zipolite was a nude beach, although that is far less common today. Zipolite attracts travelers in search of a counter-culture vibe, and it still retains an authentic Mexican atmosphere despite the tourists from all around the world. While the beach itself is the main attraction, Zipolite is also well known for Av Roca Blanca, a street just off the beach that offers bars, shops and cafes.

Chichen Itza is arguably one of the largest tourism draws near Cancun and was even named one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. This ancient Mayan site was one of the largest Mayan cities and was a major economic power in the region. On top of it all, Chichen Itza is thought to be one of the great mythical cities of Mesoamerica. Chichen Itza is home to many ancient buildings that are still in great condition including the Great Ball Court, The Temple of Warriors, El Caracol (an ancient observatory) and the most popular – El Castillo (The Castle).
